CivicScience Internships
CivicScience internships are designed to introduce students to the world of market intelligence. We are currently seeking undergrad and graduate students for our 2025 program. Join us and partner with a business leader for:
- 10-12 weeks, up to 20 hours per week (flexibility based on department/role and student needs)
- educational opportunities, including sessions on branding & communications, sales & marketing, research, data analysis, customer relationship management (CRM), and various components of our tech stack
- project deliverables that may include prospect research, outreach messaging, client engagement, nurturing business relationships, sales presentations (group and/or individual), and other components that meet academic standards, allowing students to earn college-level credit(s)
As a Business Development Intern with our Media Partnerships team, you will:
- Research and identify potential media partners and opportunities for collaboration
- Support the development of outreach strategies to engage prospective partners
- Contribute to the creation of pitch materials, proposals, and presentations
- Track and report on partnership performance metrics and outcomes
- Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on business development initiative
- Upper-level undergraduate or graduate-level student status, pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications, or related fields
- Eligibility to receive college credits for this unpaid internship
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in the world of startups
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and tactics with the ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively
- Excellent written communications skills, including impeccable grammar, and a variety of technology platform proficiencies
Expectations
This is a remote (work from home) role for a US-based undergraduate or graduate student seeking an internship opportunity to work directly with CivicScience sales and marketing professionals. Time commitment is approximately 20 hours per week for 10-12 weeks. This is an unpaid internship.
